    Chief Master Sergeant Scott Dearduff

    Scott Dearduff retired from the U.S. Air Force as a Command Chief Master Sergeant with over 29 years of service.  He served in 17 countries and 27 USA locations in a variety of duties to include nuclear and presidential security.  He is a combat veteran with four tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan spanning seven years and more than 1,200 days deployed.  Among his 27 military decorations includes the Legion of Merit, three Bronze Star Medals, the Combat Action Medal and the Iraq and Afghanistan Campaign Medals with multiple service stars.  He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Management and completed over 2,000 hours of formal leadership training.  He is a motivational speaker who reaches his audiences through laughter, emotion, and thought.

                In 2011, Scott started his own business, leading to the publication of six books, highlighted by his memoirs from combat entitled, Chief, My Journey Thru Iraq at the Peak of War.  His company provides impactful leadership training for private sector businesses based on his published works in the book series, A Cup of My Coffee, Leadership Lessons from the Battlefield, now in five versions.  He is a Patriot Award Honoree of the Employer’s Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR).  A warrior and patriot, we’re honored to have Scott speak to our Chapter.
