Lin Sue Cooney currently serves as Director of Community Engagement at Hospice of the Valley. She will be addressing meaningful tribute visits to veteran patients and families. Prior to her work with hospice care, Lin Sue spent 31 years as a newscaster for 12News. Now, instead of delivering the latest headlines, she connects our community to the compassionate care provided by one of the largest not-for-profit hospices in the country. She grew up in Great Falls, Montana, graduated cum laude from Willamette University in Salem, Oregon and received her MSJ from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. She and her very spoiled standard poodle Max are a pet therapy team for Hospice of the Valley and love bringing cheer to patients and families.
