Luke Chapter MOAA is highly active in the community.

Some additional notable past activities are presented below:

• Military Family Initiative Grant ($5000) received and disbursed in 2019, 2020, 2021 & 2023.
• Arizona Department of Veterans Services Grant ($4,950) received and disbursed in 2019, 2020, 2021 & 2023

• Awarded college scholarships to JROTC students, and children of military personal.  $34,000 in scholarships to 22 students in 2020.  Please see Luke Chapter Community Fund website for recent Scholarships.
• Financially supports Maricopa StandDown for homeless Veterans (members volunteer at the StandDown).
• Financially supports Arizona Honor Flight.
• Financially supports Arizona Military Family Relief Fund.
• Financially supports Military Order of the World Wars West Valley Chapter 131's Arizona Youth Leadership Conference.
• Luke Chapter Members donate food and money every November to the Luke Chapter Chaplain's food drive for the airmen stationed at Luke Air Force Base.
• Luke Chapter held a first ever “Feed the Need” lunch for those on the line at Luke AFB as a part of the COVID pandemic crisis.
• Luke Chapter collects toys for "Toys for Tots" at the December dinner meeting.
• Luke Chapter presents awards to JROTC Cadets.
• Luke Chapter organizes personal affairs workshops for Luke Chapter Members and other military personnel.
• Luke Chapter holds monthly dinner meetings, October through May, with either a speaker or entertainment.
• Organizes day trips to points of interest for Luke Chapter Members.
• Luke Chapter is a member of Fighter Country Partnership which helps to protect Luke Air Force Base.

• Luke Chapter is a member of Northwest Valley Veterans Association (NWVVA) which includes 15 military organizations with each organization helping the other.
• Luke Chapter Members participate in Memorial and Veterans Day events, plus other community Veterans' programs.
