PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE JANUARY 2024

2024 is now upon us and as we do each year, we have planned many wonderful events, service projects, and opportunities to render com-munity service. At the beginning of this new year, we have the opportunity to reflect upon how we as individuals and as a chapter can render service to our fellow chapter members and our community.

Our chapter achieved great success in 2023, touching the lives of many of our community through the veteran’s support fund, scholarship award pro-gram, JROTC recognition pro-gram, food and toy donations and other service projects. We also enjoyed the friendship and fellowship of serving together and enjoying our wonderful dinner programs together.

Service to the Community and our Veterans in Need

February through May will be an excellent opportunity for you to render service to the veteran’s support committee, the scholarship award committee, or JROTC recognition program. Each of these pro-grams needs your help, whether serving on a panel to approve a veteran’s request for financial assistance, selecting scholarship award applicants to receive a scholarship, or presenting a JROTC recognition award to a deserving JROTC cadet. Please contact our committee chairs and offer your assistance. It is a very rewarding experience, and your service is much appreciated.

I look forward to serving with you now through June. I appreciate the opportunity to meet new members, to visit with you at our dinner pro-grams and other events.
